Authors offer up their books for free by submitting to their book to us.
Readers then pick which books they like from the available books list, email us on Readers@caveab.com letting us know which book they want (and what format they want it in), and then leave an honest review at their earliest convenience.
Readers can take up to three books at any one time, and there is no time limit on the turnaround of your review. If you'd like more books after your first three, please include a link to the reviews you have already done (so that you never have more than 3 unreviewed titles at once). This rule is in place to prevent people taking all the books for free, and never reviewing them in return.
All of our books are sent out by hand, and we aim to send them out within 24 hours of recieving the request. If you don't appear to have recieved your ebook in this timeframe then it may be our email is in your junk mail folder.
If you'd like to be notified about future ebooks as they are added to Caveab simply put your email into the 'Follow by email' box on the right hand side of the screen, and google feedburner will do the rest for you.
Reviews may be submitted to any combination of the following (or other areas at your discretion):
Amazon UK
Amazon US
Goodreads
Shelfari
LibraryThing
When you leave a review, please state that you recieved a free copy as this is a requirement in US law, and is replicated within the terms and conditions of these websites.
As far as the star rating goes, we would suggest the following scale:
-
1* = I hated this. It has little to no redeeming features.
- 2* = I disliked this. There are fundamental issues with plot, formatting or typography.
- 3* = It's OK. I would recommend this to a friend if I knew they liked this genre.
-
4* = I liked this book. I would recommend this without hesitation. It may still contain some flaws but they don't significantly detract from the reading experience.
-
5* = I loved this book. It has no flaws/ so few flaws that they are easily overlooked. I would wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone.
The rating you give will have no impact on future receipt of Caveab titles. Please be as honest as possible highlighting both the good and the bad thing about the book. We would appreciate it if you could write at least 75 words as longer reviews are more helpful to other readers.
